Muscles and superhuman fitness at the NEC – Body Power
What does it take to hone your body to the limits of human potential? To dedicate your life to your passion and motivate others to do the same? Inspiration. Dedication. Motivation. That’s the motto of BodyPower, a global fitness media brand. And that’s what they wanted us to capture at the Birmingham NEC, where they hold their biggest event and one of the biggest fitness trade shows in the world.
As the lead photographers our job was to go round the show and shoot content for BodyPower’s online promotion and wider marketing campaigns. Their agenda includes attracting new customers, sponsors and partners.
We get right into the action, going behind, above, around and searching for angles and shots rarely seen by the public.
Being at such a grand event, you’re immediately struck by the atmosphere – it’s electric. Our reputation for bold, dynamic content is perfect for this – like the fitness professionals themselves, we go beyond the limitations and imagination of our competitors. We don’t just take the traditional shots, we get right into the action, going behind, above, around and searching for angles and shots rarely seen by the public.
Like many of our shoots, we took the chance at BodyPower to interact with the attendees and exhibitors, building a rapport with them. This allowed us to set up shots and produce photos that were more visceral and unique than you would expect to see, emphasising BodyPower’spioneering and innovative take on all things to do with fitness.
