One Baby and Some Krispy Kremes
Group photos and confetti shots were a specific ask from Natalie and Marc, a young couple getting married in Sutton Coldfield, hiring out a friend’s local pub for the reception. They also wanted lots of bridal prep, so I got the girls to pop open a bottle of Prosecco, and they let the good times roll. The chemistry between a bride and her bridesmaids is always very special.
There were quite a few unusual things about this wedding. Firstly, they had a wedding cake made out of…wait for it…Krispy Kreme doughnuts (don’t ask!). Then there was the fact that Natalie and Marc had just had their first baby – something that meant I had to be sensitive enough to work around the little girls needs when she demanded his mother’s attention.
The biggest challenge was once again, the weather. To combat this, I arrived early and set up lights and a workstation. The aim of any good photographer is to enhance the image, and that’s exactly what I was able to do for Natalie and Marc.
